At the villa
It’s been a busy morning for the little dog.  Outside, there is sun and a windy sea and he has been out walking and running with his people but now everyone is back and at last peace has come to the villa.  On the terrace abandoned traces of the morning’s activities remain scattered around: exercise clothes rinsed and drying, a forgotten iPhone and sunglasses.  But for now everyone is indoors taking a nap and the little dog can finally have a rest on the warm terracotta tiles.  Nonetheless, his ear has flopped out so he’s listening and guarding while sleeping.  Multi-tasking.  Ever vigilant.
