 Blue dogs with fountain – 29 x 33cm framed
 
A pair of old china dogs sit together washed over with the blue colour of time.  Their world exists in the now, still and silent.  They look away from each other with unfocused expressions, thoughtful and enduring.  At the top of the painting stylised blossoms on stiff branches fall from the sky.  Behind the dogs the waters of a blue fountain also hang frozen in time.  In the foreground the edge of a willow pattern plate appears, drawing us for a moment into its still blue world and away from the bustle of our own lives.
